Alot: During the unlock process the government has allowed the opening of shops from 10 am to 6 pm. But shopkeepers they are not ready to close the shops at 6pm and the police are having a tough time in enforcing unlock norms.
Already the police have worked quite hard during the lockdown to make the people follow Covid protocol and now in the unlock too, they are getting a tough time at the hands of the traders, which is shameful, a local said.
The government was forced to impose a lockdown in order to contain Covid-19. But they also distributed free ration to the needy during lockdown, so now during the unlock it becomes the duty of the people to follow the guidelines which are for their own benefit, another local said. During the second wave of Covid-19 already people have suffered a lot and have lost their near and dear ones before time.
On June 11 and June 12 the markets people flocked market after the collector declared unlocking on June 10 and Covid protocol was not followed by the traders and people.
The third wave of Covid-19 is possible and the government is preparing to combat it as well. But without public awareness nothing is possible and this has to be understood by people and they should cooperate with the administration voluntarily, a trader said on the condition of anonymity.
