Indore: On Chartered Accountant's Day on Thursday, CAs took various resolutions including providing free accounting training to a woman of the family who had lost its main earning member due to the corona pandemic, so that they can stand on their feet.
The city branch of CA organised several programmes to commemorate the 73rd CA's Day. The programmes started with flag hoisting in the morning by the chief guest was MP Shankar Lalwani. CA Kirti Joshi, Indore branch chairmanof Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) said their organisation is one of the oldest professional institutesin the country, which has the distinction of being the second-largest accounting institute in the world.
Indore branch is not only working for the professional development of its members but also discharging social responsibility. The branch plans to adopt 11 primary schools in the tribal areas, which are run by single teachers.

The Central India Regional Council has started financial literacy campaign through its regional president CA Nilesh Gupta in CA Indore branch. The traders will be made aware of financial matters.
The programme was conducted by CA Ankush Jain. Former national president of ICAI CA Manoj Phadnis, CA Churchill Jain, CA Anand Jain, CA Samkit Bhandari, CA Harsh Firoda and CA Gaurav Maheshwari were present in the programme.
CA means committed achiever: Lalwani
Addressing the function MP Shankar Lalwani said that CA means committed achiever. He said that if these two words are added in front of any name, then only it is not a symbol of qualification, it is a symbol of dedication, intelligence and willpower and that is why CA plays an important role in nation-building. When we hear the name of CA, first thing that comes to our mind is account-book, accounting and taxes because the CA takes care of our finances in the same way as doctors take care of health.
