Wimbledon: The dream is over. And at the age of 39, will this be the last we see of Roger Federer on Wimbledon’s Centre Court?
Hubert Hurkacz of Poland beat champion Roger Federer 6-3, 6-7, 6-0 to book his place in the semifinal of the Wimbledon here on Wednesday.
The Swiss No.6 seed’s bid to become the oldest man to reach the semi-finals at The Championships in the Open era was ended by a rival junior to him in years and experience.

After almost three and a half hours, Shapovalov fell on to his back in celebration, coating his Wimbledon whites in baseline dust, after a 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 victory that gives him a first semi-final appearance in any of the Grand Slams.
Novak Djokovic continued on his seemingly relentless progress to a seventh Wimbledon final with his fourth successive straight-sets victory, this time over the unseeded Hungarian Marton Fucsovics. While not as easy as it appeared when the defending champion won the opening five games, the Serb was never seriously threatened by the world No.48.
The world number one defeated Hungary's Marton Fucsovics in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in the quarterfinals here at the Centre Court.
With this win, Djokovic has entered the Wimbledon semifinal for the 10th time in his career and this is the 41st time that the Serbian player has managed to enter the semifinals of a Grand Slam.
Djokovic has now won 15 sets on the spin after losing his first of The Championships, to wild card Jack Draper. However, Fuscovics was only the second player he has faced in the top 100, the other being Cristian Garin, the world No.20.
Sania, Rohan out
Mixed doubles pair of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna on Thursday crashed out of the ongoing Wimbledon.
Andreja Klepac and Jean-Julien Rojer defeated Mirza and Bopanna 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 in the round of 16 match here at Court 2.
