Sanawad: Bank to pay farmers under Rs 4 cr payment default case based on the official list

SANAWAD (KHARGONE DISTRICT): Beginning Monday, the farmers who were cheated by a trader will start getting their due amount based on the list prepared by the Mandi administration.

Barwah MLA Sachin Birla on Thursday have taken up the cause of the farmers after a trader purchased their crop but defaulted on their due payment of Rs 4 crore.

Birla asked SDM Anukul Jain, naib tehsildar Sukhdev Dabur, agriculture extension officer BS Sengar, mandi secretary BS Parihar, horticulture officer Govind Patel to ensure that all farmer get justice.

Birla said that the farmers who were cheated would get the due amount against their produce. Birla assured the aggrieved farmers that all possible efforts are being made to resolve the issue.

The farmers will get their amount once the officials share the list of the eligible farmers with the Buldhana Bank.
