Neemuch: Heavy police force has been deployed in 2 villages in the district a day after abduction of Dayali village sarpanch Badrilal Dayama, many of his supporters and villagers rushed to Balaganj village in Neemuch district and vandalised abductors houses, vehicles.
On Wednesday, Balaganj villagers led by one Babulal abducted Badrilal Dayama while he was heading to his native village on motorcycle from Gandhi Sagar road. Abductors made a video of the abduction in which they are see thrashing sarpanch. After the video of incident went viral on Thursday the local police swung into action.
Meanwhile, irked over the viral video, more than 100 people from sarpanchÃs village raided Balaganj village and ransacked the house of Babulal, the main accused. They vandalized TV refrigerator, coolers, motorcycles and tractors. Many villagers of the sarpanchÃs village were injured in the attack.

Fortunately, timely intervention by police prevented the situation from going out of hands. Heavy police force has been deployed in both villages and a manhunt is on to nab the accused.
Local police claimed that the abduction is related to some old dispute, but village sources claimed that the entire incident was fallout of ongoing tiff between two factions of Banjara community.
They said that recently the son of Dayama was engaged with the girl of Kachhawa family of Balaganj village. Later, the girlÃs family refused to solemnize the marriage. This led to a dispute between the two families.
On Wednesday, Balaganj villagers led by one Babulal abducted Badrilal Dayama from Gandhi Sagar Road under Rampura police station in Neemuch district in an SUV. At that time, Badrilal was heading to his village on a motorcycle.
On Thursday, BadrilalÃs abduction video went viral on social media where in a few villagers were seen beating the sarpanch. Infuriated over the treatment meted to Badrilal, his supporters retaliated.
Rampur police station incharge Gajendra Chouhan said that 11 people, including four unidentified persons have been booked and a search is on to nab them. He said that all the accused are from Balaganj village in Manasa tehsil. He attributed the abduction to old enmity between the two.
When contacted, Neemuch SP Suraj Kumar Verma said that those involved in stone-pelting are being identified and strict action would be taken against the guilty. He added that the police reached the spot on time and recorded the entire incident.
